Which tier is best for me?

Aspire is designed for someone building their collection with approximately 20 - 100 bottles. If you are just looking for a platform to help keep track of what bottles you have and past wine experiences, Aspire is ideal for you.

Prestige is the next step up and unlocks additional features. It is built for collections with a fridge or simple wine wall with roughly 100 - 500 bottles. The main difference between Prestige and Aspire is that Prestige will help you find the exact location of a specific bottle in your collection through our proprietary technology VinLocate. You recreate your fridge or wall row-by-row or bin-by-bin, assign your wines to slots, and VinLocate will show you visually where each bottle is. You also receive access to analytics, cellar value, add expected delivery lists for futures or allocation wines, and receive discounts with our partner brands.

Opus is our top-tier bespoke solution for the elite collector. It is ideal for someone with multiple wine walls or complete cellars, typically with 500+ bottles. With Opus, we build you a completely custom, interactive 3D rendering of your wine cellar, including all its unique details such as wooden cases or magnum bottles. Opus can also integrate with temperature and humidity sensors and has advanced search functionality (for example “show me all my bottles over $400”).

How much does InVintory cost?

There are three tiers on the InVintory app – Aspire, Prestige, and Opus.

1) Aspire is entirely free.

‍

2) Prestige is $9.99 a month or $99.00 a year.

‍

3) Opus is $300 a year, and also has a one time set up fee starting at $1,500* (varies with complexity of cellar).

If you are Canadian, you are billed in CAD currency. If you are American or are located anywhere else in the world, you are billed in USD.

Can I import my collection data from other platforms?

Yes! You can build your collection very quickly on InVintory by importing your data from another platform such as an excel spreadsheet, CellarTracker, or Vivino. Our team of sommeliers will then review your wines and match them to our database.

To migrate from Vivino:

Log in to your Vivino account and locate “Settings” under your profile.
Scroll down to the end of the page and click “Start an export”.
Once the file is ready, click “Download” (a .zip file will be downloaded).
Double click to open the zip file.
Open the folder and locate the “cellar.csv” file.
Upload here.

Can I export my InVintory collection data?

Yes, you can export all the wines and data you add into InVintory to a .csv or .pdf. You can also filter your collection by certain fields (such as purchase price, region, etc.) and export that list.

Do you show market values?

Yes, but it is a paid feature. Prestige & Opus subscribers are able to see the market value of each bottle and the total value of their collection.

We pull data from Liv-Ex, Wine Searcher, and Wine Market Journal to populate the market data field. If any data is unavailable, you are able to enter your own purchase price.

Do you show a bottle’s ideal drink window?

Yes. All InVintory users are able to access ideal drink window data on any bottle in our database. We also allow you to adjust drink windows according to your preference.

You can also filter your collection by a certain drink window and export all the applicable bottles.

Do you show critic reviews?

On our Opus tier we show critic reviews for most commercially sold wines.

Do you have community reviews?

Yes. All InVintory users have the ability to see and leave reviews on any wine in our database. We encourage collectors to upvote reviews they find helpful.

Can I add private label wines to my collection?

Yes, you can add any wine to your InVintory collection, even if it’s not a mass produced wine or if we don’t have it yet in our database.

Can you share one InVintory subscription with a partner or wine manager?

Yes, if you’d like to share your collection with someone, you do not have to pay for 2 separate Prestige or Opus accounts. Just add them as a collaborator to your account. You can have unlimited collaborators.

How does InVintory compare to CellarTracker?

Overall CellarTracker does a great job at:

1) Legacy

Having been around for 20 years, CellarTracker has secured a strong hold in the market and people have gotten used to the platform.

2) Community Reviews

Many people score and leave reviews on wine in CellarTracker (more than in InVintory).

InVintory also have community reviews, but we avoid ratings as that affixes someone's objective measure to a subjective experience. Instead, we let people "upvote" so the community tells us what is useful and what is not.

Both CellarTracker and InVintory have good:

1) Functionality

Both have key functions of adding and removing bottles, as well as collection market value.

InVintory has a ton of functions, like a Wishlist, Cellar Analytics (see what you've spent, a breakdown of your collection, etc..), the ability to add collaborators on your account, custom tags to organize your bottles and filter on them as you see fit, etc.

2) Pricing

Both InVintory and CellarTracker have free and paid options.

A CellarTracker subscription (which unlocks all features) correlates to the number of bottles your tracking.

Is InVintory available on Android?

InVintory is not available at the moment as a native Android app, however you can still access the platform on any device via our web app.

There isn’t an Opus dealer near me. What should I do?

If we don’t yet have a dealer near you, you can either opt to set up Opus on your own or contact us here and we’ll work on finding a dealer to assist you.

Do I need an Opus dealer to get Opus?

No. Working with a dealer is entirely optional. While dealers offer the most seamless onboarding experience, some of our clients opt to be more involved and set up their Opus cellar themselves.

Does InVintory have an enterprise solution?

We are currently working on developing an enterprise solution, however many businesses still use the regular InVintory. Please reach out to us at support@invintory.com and we would be happy to talk about your specific needs.
